Matt Edwards

Matthew Edwards is a Legal Intern at Verdant Law, where he conducts legal research and monitors legislative and regulatory developments affecting microplastics at the federal and state levels. He also authors content on the Product Stewardship Law Report., highlighting emerging developments in product stewardship, chemical regulation, sustainability, and related areas of environmental law.

Before joining Verdant Law, Mr. Edwards served as a legal intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service focusing on the Endangered Species Act and spent ten years in the U.S. Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. He is pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of Maryland School of Law, where he is working toward certificates in both Health Law and Environmental Law. Mr. Edwards also serves as a Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Health Care Law & Policy.
